Jonas was just returning from the compound, a new load of books under his arm from the bookshelf. He'd gotten to the point that his hut was so full of books that he had to return some before he got new ones. There was also a sandwich wrapped up under his arm, as there was a good chance he was going to forget to get something to eat once he started in on these new books.

He'd heard from Sam and Daniel about Kate but he'd yet to formally meet her. When he saw her sitting on her porch, he figured now was as good a time as any. "Hello. I hope you're settling in to New Atlantis alright?" Jonas said as he approached the hut.
