Kate is a a half-Indian American, daughter of safecracker and Sox fan who died in an explosion when she was eight. She learned one of those things from daddy, and it wasn't baseball. She and Mom and little brother Thad started out in Chicago, but they moved around a lot after Dad, and Kate took off on her own when Mom went to Mumbai.

She was a girl Solo, just a freelancer, in it for the money, not your revolution, Princess, and a girl solo, used to making it on her own and capable of it - until a job went south, and instead of a cell, she found a cause and a home. She's still a smartass, slow to trust, but fierce in defense of her few friends. And please, seriously, kill her, if you ever catch her in pastels and flats.

She comes from the show Sanctuary, and finds herself on Tabula Rasa during the events of episode 3x14, "Metamorphosis", bringing with her:
