[Homeplot] Roulette Girl
This is third bombing site they've been to. Kate's feet hurt. Her brain hurts. She's covered with soot and grime, but she's got kickass weaponry, Liv's a great Will substitute and for the first time in a long time she actually knows what she's doing. That doesn't hurt at all.
Right now, they're sifting through the wreckage of a construction site at the north edge of town. It was third to go boom. Kate told their Herusan guards, they wanted to see them in order. Liv had agreed. Patterns evolve. Thing is, this one looks exactly like the last and the files she took from 'her' desk aren't showing up anything new in witness statements either.
All they know is that the bombers have been killed in every case. No remains recovered. The first and the seventh (today's) may have been teenaged girls, and the thing they found in the seventh was a doll. She might be doing what she's good at, but the destruction of the good work Garris and the other her are doing down here is really starting to piss Kate off. "Swear to god, if I get black lung..." she mutters but the threat's going nowhere. There's no one to attack.
[ooc: Olivia gets her detective on, finding more forensic type clues that point to a teenaged girl (barrette, definitely something to do with a doll, maybe a piece of jewelry) at this site, and on their way to the next and Kate spots a Takterran tail. They go after the Takterran but are detained by others, there's a fight and some general ass-kicking. Olivia gets snatched and Kate tracks her down and frees her, grabbing one of the guys.]
