Aidan noticed right away that something was different about her expression, it lacked the hunger it normally had when she saw him. He was slightly amused by the idea that suddenly he radiated some sort of old-dad vibe now or something.

"Well it's a great loss for those of us who enjoy a good show now and then," he said, indicating to the bartender he wanted a beer.
