And okay maybe not so much silence, because she remembers too. Oh god, she remembers. She wishes she didn't feel so damned guilty about how much she remembers the way walls and floors and doors got abused in the making of their booty calls.
It's not exactly right to say she's missed him, because she loves Declan still and he loves Martha and neither of them would ever have cheated or wanted this while they were here, but the familiarity in this is good. The raw, dark, predatory edge of her teeth in his bottom lip and her legs wrapping up around his hips (talking will happen...maybe), and her hand in his hair and his in hers, nothing restrained or gentle about it. Yeah. There's something very good in this.
