"Ah," Jim hums, dragging out the sound as he decides how he feels about that. Conflicted, mostly, about how much it still hurts to see Emma, about how it helps to know that Kate is looking out for him. Thing is, fragile as Jim actually is about all of this, the last thing he wants is for anybody to know it.
