Kate drops the last two satchels on the floor of the hut. "That's the last of it," she says to the dog nuzzling at her calf. She tries not to think too hard about 'it' - her stuff and what she's kept of Declan's, the bedframe she'd gotten help to move, the mat, the couch - or why she's moved away from the hut she chose for herself. The one she insisted on keeping even when she spent more than half her night's with him. She could've had...
She's thinking again. She needs to stop doing that.
"Thirsty, Red?" Talking to Bonny's not a bad distraction. The puppy will be happier here with the dog and the direwolf, the turtles and the ocicat. When Bonny barks, Kate smiles, reaches down and ruffles her ears, then goes into her new house to get a dish of water for Bonny (there's running water, that's a plus) and a glass for herself.
It's good. Being here. More like the Sanctuary, she thinks, when she sets the dish down for Bonny and drops on her ass on the porch. She's closer to William, which will be good when Sam has the baby. Closer to the Compound and the Winchester and the Hub, which is good for...well, everything. She scrubs her sweaty forehead with her wrist.
Kate rests her elbows on her knees and her head on her hands with the glass dangling from her fingers. It's good. Even if she wishes Will and Magnus and Nikola lived here too. So why does she feel like shit?
[OOC: Jonas has probably seen Kate around with William and knows her by name. She'll perk up when if he comes over to say hi.]
