"Yeah, exactly," Kate said, a little relieved. Some people just got it, they just understood that you couldn't change shit like that, so you dealt with it as best you could. Sometimes that meant getting mad and sometimes it meant just doing what needed to be done and sometimes it meant nothing at all.
