At the mention of notes in the mailbox, Kate presses her lips together and shrugs. Her mind goes immediately to the black dress conversation she and Declan had, and the new one about what she's been thinking about him.
She reaches for the beer she's been chasing the tequila with and pulls it closer to her but doesn't drink. "Friend from home. It's..." Kate sighs, but it's not really an unhappy sound. "Complicated."
