There's never going to be a time when hearing Kate strung out and needy for him isn't a good thing and the only thing better than that is hearing her when he's given her exactly what she wants. So he's a little smug when he kisses her hip and slides back up next to her in bed but Declan supposes he might get a pass for that. He's stroking her hair and calming down when he hears something: faint, but evident.
