There it is strange and wonderful. It makes Dunham sound like Will and Magnus, and Kate can't help liking the way she's looking at the pictures. Curiosity, yeah, and surprise in her eyes, but she's not gawking. She's looking at Biggie and Sally the same way she looked at Kate when Kate brought in her bracelet. And now Kate knows why. Dunham's world's weird too.
Kate gets up quick, glad for the distraction, goes over to the projector to pack up the reel. "Wouldn't mind hearing about it. It's kind of late but I don't figure you for sleeping much. Want to grab a few drinks?" It's casual, but her voice wobbles a little with emotion she's having a fucking hard time keeping under control. It's not going to get any better if they stop to pick up the bracelet, either.
